What’s your go to comfort food and what do you do if you don’t have any?

Cheese and crackers is mine. If I don’t have any I’ll eat everything else until I go and get some

Mine varies between home-made macaroni cheese, and cheese and crackers with assorted cheeses.

.

It depends on what level of comfort I need.

It's been a rainy cold day?

Jam roly poly. Cold custard.

I'm feeling a bit exhausted/low energy? Wild mushroom ramen. Or a Buddha bowl with extra roasted butternut squash.

People are irritating me and I need comfort from their bs? Macaroni cheese or cheese on toast or tartiflette.

I just want some comforting soul food? Jerk chicken and dumplings. With rice and peas. Oh and lamb ramen from this amazing foodhall in Manchester that does the best yuzu margaritas.

I want to see the world burn?

The tears of those who have wronged me.

I've said it before and it's the best description of my take on comfort food.

I don't follow this idea of not having any in. Not possible.
