I have been reading post in the last week and seen so much moaning and negativity.
Why do people reach out on here? this is not a place for that! get professional help!
Why use the forums to ask for advice concerning mental health issues?
Why are there soooooooooooo many gay guys on here?
Why are there so many bi guys on here?
Why are there so many single guys on here?
All I can say is. Who (The Feck) are you to say who can and can not use these forums?
If you do not like a post, either make a comment on the post why you disagree with it, complain to the mods if it is offensive or better still, JUST FUCKING IGNORE THE POST!
Its as simple as that!
Personally, I love the forums as it gives me a feeling I belong to a sub culture that on the whole, understands me as a person. Also, sometimes, makes me laugh and sometimes makes me have more of an understanding of things I knew very little about.
So can we have some positive comments on this post please! i.e Tell me/us what YOU like/LOVE/adore about the forums.

I stay on this site for the forums and feel at home in the lounge. Some threads annoy me and some thread starters do my head in with their inanity. So I skip ALL of his. I skip sports related threads as I have no interest in them. But there are always enough threads that interest me. I have learnt a lot from this forum. I have had glimpses into the struggles people face from disability gender or race issues. I think this has made me a slightly better person. |

I love the fact that The Forums™ have taught me that there is a hell of a lot more acceptance out there than I had ever dared to hope.
I am grateful that through the kindness of contacts on The Forums™ I am still here to talk about it. A dark time in my life was made slightly less dark by the kindness of internet strangers.

As much as I understand what you're saying OP, I like the negativity. I'm not talking about the abuse, the dirty laundry airing, the name-calling etc. I'm talking about the different ways people express themselves.
I don't want a saccharine circle jerk of a fora. I like that people challenge things, discuss a myriad of things and can express how they really feel. Respond to things. Sometimes when someone says something that doesn’t agree, it's seen as a negative. That's not how it works.
Whilst I don't agree with certain aforementioned negativity, I like the balance. That's what keeps the fora ticking over. |

I mainly ignore threads and posts by people who like to spoil it for others. And ley's face it there are a few sad ones about. Especially when they highjack other people's threads for their own agendas, or become very personal and abusive. On the other hand I enjoy the forums, including opinions and civilised debate and of course some of the lighter threads on food, holidays and so many more that lift one's spirit, inform and entertain. It is just that a platform for people to share, some will agree, some not but that is not a bad thing as long as it is within the realms of respect for one another.  |

Too much positivity is nauseating and more often than not forced and fake anyway. #Bekind has a lot to answer for and it's the epitome of hypocrisy more often than not. |

if not! please pass this post by! I gave examples (without using anyones names or specific posts) but I am seeing the negativity that I did not want on this post!
