I've recently had a considerable amount of messages calling me 'Duchess'.
I think it's awful and it's a straight delete, unread if it's in the title.
Which 'pet' name is guaranteed to make you drier than the Sahara? |

Ones I’ve received and detest:
Hunny
Babes
Sexy
Honey
Sweetie
Muffin
Darling (except for one person who calls me this in real life; but in a message here it’s straight to the bin without opening it)
Love
Sugar
Mami (just because I’m a Latina doesn’t mean I like this. This is my biggest pet hate of all pet names. It’s equivalent of being called mommy to me as I don’t use it like most Latinos do.)
Hun
Cutie
Dear
No, just no to all of these. |

I'd have had it before either Nora, and loads in the last week.

I've had a recent surge of people calling me babygirl or princess. Princess is fine, bit twee but not a total clunge plunger. Principessa is okay at a push, because it's a little (unknown to them) nod to my heritage and a former lover.
I don't like being called babygirl by people I don't know at all. I understand my avatar could give that energy, clearly does with recent messages but it does towel dry my quim. |

I hate it when I hear people say Hubby…
I don’t mind being called most things unless it’s rude derogatory or out right racist.
A lot of the guys and girls I have worked with call me Babe haha I don’t mind.

I don't like anything that declares me sexy, gorgeous or anything similar, from the get-go because this cannot be judged from bits of body pics. If one politely declines, one often them becomes a "fat *****" straightaway |

I don’t really have any that put me off tbh. It all depends on the context of the message |

I call them "Dutch Eggs" when they are of a lower 'nouveau riche' social standing.
Otherwise, for those tugging the silk strings of the landed gentry or a member of the hereditary peerage I refer to them as: Baroness, Viscountess, Marchioness or Countess.
However, if the currency for flattery is any suitable compliment then I will call them whatever they prefer if it gets me into their velvetine knickers. |

Yes.
In order of ranking (high to low) it's — Queen, Princess, Duchess, Marchioness, Countess, Viscountess, Baroness, Lady, Bellaseas, ... |

Mrs hate's this as well and she even has it on her profile header" don't call me baby"
Babe, Hun, sweetheart and so on.
Ok I get that it's not meant to offend but if someone specifically requests in writing that they don't like being called said names then amazingly your message is going to get deleted if your first message includes them.
As she says Jools is just fine thanks. |

I already have it written in my profile that I will not rey to any pet names. Still get some everyday though.
Pet names are for people I know and I'm close to.
Some random stranger online calling me sweetheart, darling or any other name you choose is just creepy. |
