Most likely to be a scam. Crypto is used to buy stuff discreetly like drugs for the most part

So why would they want to buy something legit (your photography) with it?

It might not be a scam, but just keep in mind that usually you’d just bank transfer actual money

Unless what you are taking photos of is illegal to produce and circulate then no reason at all.

If you can’t pay your rent with it, don’t accept it.

The government (read, world government) is seeing to it that crypto will cease, and the CBDC will be the only way you can pay. If they allow you to that is.

Crypto is not only used for illicit reason just like fiat currency isn't used only for illicit reasons, stop spreading false narratives.

Cryto currency is the 4th revolution

And soon everything will be tokenized, do some research.

“Do dive research” - the words of someone talking out their arse but wants you to prove it

OP, as others have said, why would they be buying something off you that’s perfectly legal and normal to pay with cash, with an untraceable, more complicated to use cryptocurrency?

Maybe because it’s way easier to scam people with crypto because of the extra steps in using it and people general unfamiliarity with it

I trade crypto. And have made an awful lot of money from it.

Perfectly safe if you know what you're doing, the more people who accuse it of being a scam the better it is for the rest of us lol

What are you on about.

Its a currency? If they wanted to pay in euros would you say the same.

Because its not centrally regulated doesn't mean its somehow this awful thing

Crypto is just a digital asset.

Like vitual money.

Like in real life money is used for buying goods lecit or illecit.

Same goes to crypto.

I have been involved in the web3 industry for many years.

Developed tokens, Dex's (Decentralised Exchange) and now developing a payment system.

The industry is growing. And crypto will become a methot of payment in the future.

Banks like revolut already allows you to hold crypto. The infrastructure and the services are currently scarce.

That's why we are developing systems that will allow the public trade in crypto.

Security is the upmost important thing. All contracts are audited and checked.

Crypto is here to stay.

Just need to use it properly.
