Had a craving for lamb stew and dumplings over the weekend. Was a mission on Friday buying the suet for it but managed to buy one of the last two packets on the shelf after a very helpful male assistant in the supermarket located it on the computer system. He was interested in what it was for so spent some time explaining it to him.
As to the stew .....it was excellent with onions swede carrots and new potatoes bubbling away for four hours.
Still have another serving too.  |
