Gentlemën, Lådìes, Nøn-Bínarìes and Persons of Interest...

Is this seriously a 'thing' ?!?

I just received a marketing email from a high street French restaurant chain. Whatever next?

The ingredients are: chocolate cream liqueur with nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon, blended with cream and espresso and finished with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

I'll pass.

There's no pumpkin in pumpkin spice. It's the spice mix that goes well with pumpkin. Sheesh.

Pumpkin puree is added to the spices to make the syrup so it is included. The martini is just marketing BS

Well actually... pumpkin spice literally means the pumpkin spice mix you'd use to make a pumpkin pie. So the martini is closer to accurate marketing. Starbucks is just throwing in a bit more Autumn for us basic bitches.

I don't like nutmeg, ginger or cinnamon so this is not floating my boat. I repeat, not floating my boat.

I'll stick to the plain old espresso martini...

I mean you could. I'm not sure savoury coffees are going to be the next big thing but I would never have thought Tiktok dances would be a thing either.

The olive oil coffee is all the rage apparently. Olive oil blended into coffee post brewing that is.

That reminds me, autumn is perfect for hot chocolate. Decadent, extra noir, sugar-less, indulgent hot chocolate. I need to find London’s best this year.

Agreed. I mentioned something similar to a friend over the weekend that I only occasionally drink Hot Chocolate, but when I get that craving it really has to be something exceptional for that heightened uncompromising pleasure and 'fix'. Standard fayre from supermarkets doesn't seem to cut it. I'm on the hunt to find this season's ever-elusive HC!
