I have asked this because I had a lovely call last night from a fabber I haven't even met yet who was checking in to see how I was, we had a chat and he stayed on the phone and sang to me until I fell sleep. Surprising and delightful.
If you had asked me yesterday morning I would have rolled my eyes and said that sounded cheesy, maybe it was but goodness I felt happy this morning. |

I have found Fab to be an environment of delightful surprises. I'm not talking about the forå (Nocturnal Thread excepted), but the willingness and amenability of all those wonderful folk that I have met personally. Each new friend and connection brings with them their own unique colour, quirkiness and surprises.
Mediocrity and repetition doesn't seem to exist in the personalities of those in my fab social circles.
And then there are those who are emotionally close to me...I cannot divulge, except they are a hard habit to break.
Here endeth my whimsical waffle.

I was really unsure when I first signed up to fab.
“Is it for me”, “will it be just full of weird people” “what is a swinger?” And many questions more besides.
I was very ready to leave, not having answered many of the my initial questions I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time.
When out of the blue I was contacted by someone whom I made a connection with, a true swinger. A very patient one, who was happy to answer any and all questions.
I plucked up the courage to make a meet, I found some friends, and more than one connection with people I speak to regularly and would consider ‘friends’. An experience or two was had, and even now there are many more experiences to be had and it never fails to make me smile when I have the pleasure of interacting with someone who naturally puts a smile on your face.
As others have eloquently said, you do at times have to wade through craziness, and sometimes you mess up when you didn’t intend to. But there’s a great community here if you’re patient enough to find them  |

We found each other on here and that was a total surprise.
And since starting our couples profile we have met some fantastic people and have a regular guy and a hot lady who we consider as friends too…

I feel I have been so lucky with both the people I have met in real life through fab and many contacts I am yet to meet from here. Some absolutely fantastic connections who lift my spirits and make me appreciate my world. I’m not really meeting at the moment, certainly no one new, due to a lot of life laundry but I’m really enjoying having so many wonderful fab friends x |

2 1/2 years ago a random cheeky message off of the back of a thread I found something I didn't know i was looking for. We've just celebrated our 2 year anniversary and looking forward to many more years together
I also found friends that even though we don't talk often I know I can message in an instant and its like no time has passed xx

I have one lovely fab friend I recently reconnected with and he's been checking in with me, I think every single day, whilst I'm going through some shit stuff.
And also another who've I've got friendly with, similar issues so we can rant to each other and totally get it!

I’ve bored too many people or made them want the sick bucket from listening to our story.
The short version is that fab changed my life, I met the woman of my dreams, we now live together and are about as committed as it gets (something I never thought would happen to me) and I’m still wondering when I’m going to get woken up..
You still need the bucket don’t you?
Anything is possible, even in the unlikeliest of places.

I've stayed on longer this time than most previous sojurns on Fab, cos of the Lounge threads. It's nice to communicate with people who have such varied backgrounds and who I would not meet in my normal everyday life. Some are still virtual friends, others are great for a walk, a coffee, a picnic or the occasional dalliance  |

I can't actually remember how I found her but I moved to the area and asked her for advice then we chatted back and forth and funnily enough I was walking to the pub for a social when she drove past stopped and asked if I was (my real name) I said yeah we had a quick chat then we arranged a wine date and it went from there. She's my little boys god mother and house sits and dog sits when I'm on holiday. I'm so lucky to have met her |

I've met a few people that I've enjoyed talking to but other wise nope no absolutely outstanding experiences/life changing/important people.
However, I do stay for the forum. It is amazing! Its a comedy show in a scroll. |
