Someone looking after me from a distance while I’ve been poorly.
They provided hours of chat, support, reminded me to eat and drink, delivered exert doctor’s orders, sent me videos and made me laugh so much my abs hurt the next day. |

I'm currently making a pie which is pretty good. I also got to see my sister this week and she gave me a toy highland cow as a souvenir from her travels which I've been shamelessly snuggling all week! |

I had a touching moment with a friend. Where I felt seen in a way not many can, usually only those who've had similar experiences.
Pleasing is the wrong word, meaningful is more suited. I needed that this week.
Also I found coffee this morning when I thought I had none. So that was woohoo. Simple things and all that. |

Well it's been an extended birthday for me this week so lots of little things. My fiancé's excitement when giving me presents. Some beautiful handwritten letters and cards from family and loved friends. Meeting a person's other person. Watching a person pop their PSL cherry and him not hating it. Finding out a group of owls is called a parliament. More PSLs.
The main thing? The conversations I've had this past week. The deeper ones. The ones where there's that exchange of authenticity. Where I remember I can open up to others and be all of me.
And the PSLs.

I'm doing a lot of work on my house, I've had 2 quotes in today for 2 different jobs. Both have come in under what I was expecting, so thrilled and excited that all is coming together.

I'm currently on holiday and it's not the sun, sea or lushness of our trip. It was seeing my sons ask the lady in the shop how she was and her telling me they were the only ones to do that. She said I'd raised them well. It melted my heart. |

Hearing from one of my mentees, with whom I have been working hard on her personal and professional development that she got the promotion she went for and the interview panel chair told her she’d absolutely aced the interview and could essentially pick her next assignment. Means so much as over the last 18 months she’s had nowt but rotten luck, family health wise. |

Getting out for a good walk with the dogs. And the dogs behaving. Nobody tried to murder sheep. (don't worry, we wouldn't take the dogs into a field with sheep if we knew they were reactive to them. The dogs just leave them alone and the sheep are so used to people they don't care either)

That awesome! I did the same when my grandpa passed I had a praying mantis staring at me prior to my recertification test. It's like he was telling me you got this. I cried my eyes out.

Awww it's definitely something that stops you in your tracks. My first day back at work after she passed a robin followed me along in the machine i operate for an hour till i stopped for lunch then ate some bread from the step into the cab. I guess it could happen anyday but it brought some comfort today at the time i needed it most. Did you pass your test? |

I've had the best week. Firstly seeing my little boy in hysterical laughter at loads of birds surrounding his nanny. Then the latter end of the week seeing someone on a porn site that looked very similar to my very hot ex FWB! Needless to say it scratched an itch |

My pleasing moment today was I went to the arcades on the pier. Must've spent about £20 ok the 2p machines and had about a thousand tickets. There was a young family and the little girl was sad she couldn't afford the toy, so I gave them my tickets. Her smile was full of joy
