It's great to do. Difficulty varies, depends what you're doing, hurtling over huge cross country courses is a mile away from going for a gentle easy ride. Look up local riding schools for beginners lessons, the BHS website has a list of schools. Lessons will include a horse, you don't need one of your own. |

It's not as easy as you might think. But some take to it easier than others.
Try a trekking centre.. Go for a gentle trek somewhere beautiful.. and if you like it, get lessons.
I love it, beautiful creatures and so exhilarating when out in the countryside riding free!! |
