Over the rainbow, under the bridge

If you were only permitted to own and run three electrical appliances in your home, which ones would you choose?

(PC, television, dvd, ipod dock, fridgefreezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, cooker hood, lamps, hairdryer, straighteners, heaters, vibrators?)

Spioky but my old house in Spain could only support 3 appliances as I was the last house on the electric cable.

I ran the fridge, the pool filter pump and the stereo what more could you possibly need xx

I would want to have my laptop. I live alone and without it I would feel horribly isolated, it keeps me in touch with people, negates the need for a TV, I can shop on it, listen to my usic on it, find Events and reviews, play games if I'm bored. I wouldn't want to be without it

I probably would want my freezer cos it's quite cheap to load it up with offers that I find on-line If I tried to food shop daily I'd end up spending a fortune on stuff I didn't really need.

And a cooker I s'pose...without which the freezer would be a bit pointless

...shame the hoover would have to go though it's great for catching those big spiders

Now then, if living in Spain my answer would have been very different

(She/ her) in Sensualityland

Sensible head would suggest the freezer, fridge and cooker... the other head would suggest my stereo, my pc and my wandWhich one wins would depend on my hierarchy of needs at THAT moment in time;-)

No no no no this is easy to answer ........ here's what u do ....... u team up with someone else,

they run the cooker, freezer and dishwasher,

Have to admit this is a tough one for me.

PC is a must as I use it for work and it would double up for other functions (tv, radio, etc).

I have a gas hob so that's ok.

Fridge freezer is an essential as well for obvious reasons.

After that it would be a toss up between a shower (which is run on electric) or a washer.

Toys can be battery operated, I can buy a Ewbank to clean the carpets, I can hand wash dishes.

One thing I wouldn't need though would be any kind of diet or exercise - take away the labour-saving devices and you soon use up the calories!

"Battery charger

How would you get planning permission for a watermill in London?

The only one that I think is really essential is a mobile phone.

But as I'm allowed three: phone, fridge-freezer , kindle.

Now I'm off to collect wood..

Not everywhere has gas - but there are other ways to cook too.

OK - where would you find the space in a city?
