So not naming anyone at all so hopefully within forum rules..if not please delete.

I have found out that someone has forwarded a private photo that I sent to them to their “friend”

I am fuming. Probably naive. Who or why would you send someone else’s photo to someone else. It’s disgusting

Ah, welcome to the wonderful world of FAB! Normal rules is life seem to alude some! Maybe they sent your pic because they think you're gorgeous? I'd look for the reason that gives the most peace and positivity

That’s rough but it happens, unfortunately you can’t control what others do with pics or vids you send or allow them to take. How did you find out?

People do it a lot on here. That’s why I don’t send them on here or take part in FPF. Once it’s out there it’s out there.

Sorry it’s happened to you though. It’s shit.

Wow, do they really?... that's very out of order. Makes me way more hesitant to send such pics in future.

Stick to the rule face or fun. If your face is in the photo your dick shouldn’t be. Avoids this situation.

Betrayed trust can be deeply hurtful.

I'm afraid that is the tip of the iceberg of what people will engage in with brazen glee. Others behind the veil of plausible deniability.

I would expect that this is pretty common in all aspects of dating. Assuming this 3rd party is actually a friend in real life, I would expect any photos I shared to potentially be seen by their friends. Obviously it's a totally different situation if this person has shared it with another random fab member as wank material, but sharing it with a genuine friend is surely not a surprise, even if it is questionably actually OK.

And not a cropped photo where its clearly the same person. You want your face photo to be totally unconnected to your fun photo.

If you send a pic to anyone .You have no idea who else might be with the person you sent it to and looking at the profile together.

Does not even have to be sent to anyone else for other people than the intended recipient to see it.

"They have broken the law "

They haven’t. Once you put something into the public domain it’s fair game unless it’s used to cause alarm, distress or harm (in which case it is covered by the Prevention of Malicious Communications Act).

Sharing privately isn't public domain, however revenge porn laws only apply if you can prove they intended distress, and showing off your new sexy conquest to your friend in a positive way is not intending to cause distress.

"Was their friend also on Fab OP? Not condoning the act but could it have been with the best of intentions ?"

Even the best of intentions requires permission or any form of acquiescence. It's unacceptable.

...and also one of the reasons why I never participate in the ill-advised Face Pic Friday (FPF) nonsense.
