there is more than one Scouse accent. It gets more subtle as you go south. That's what I've noticed."
It is more a case of just how strong the accent is in combination with the ability to enunciate words!
As I am somebody from the north of Liverpool, mine (and lots of people I know) is on the softer side of the accent. The stereotypical accent is usually what you see on TV - even I dislike a very strong and raw scouse accent.
The further from the centre of Liverpool you get (with the exception of a few areas) the softer the accent gets, both north and south. It does linger a little more to the north though, yes.

i actually find certain american accents sexy and when i am talking to someone im close to i literally melt into a puddle at times with when he speaks and well yeah.
There is different type of other accents i find lovely at times
Scottish here, but i think i have a plain sort of voice and very understandable..nods

My girls pure Leeds and when she has a sore throat or cold and her voice is horsey it makes me melt
I also like a subtle scouce accent on a women
French is so delicate and sexy too
On the flipside Brazilian Portuguese is pretty abrasive and aggressive sounding but I find that fit too |

For me, a soft scottish accent is divine . Edinburgh or Stirling area.
However, I personally have a Lancashire accent ( think Paddy Maguiness but deeper) and the accent barrier between us would be just too much. |
