Many reasons why people hide their profile, some of the reasons I hide mine from time to time are I don’t want to be found, want a break from fab or just want to spend my time chatting on the forums uninterrupted. |

Several reasons like :
They're here for the forums or the photos not meeting people so don't want to be contacted.
They've got so many of the to-do list they can't take on anymore at present.
They're can be all-sorts going on in people's lives that prevent them from wanting to be seen on here

Hiding mine I am not meeting or intending to go out to clubs or parties, so don’t see any reason to ‘advertise’ myself on here.
If I don’t hide my profile I’ll get a few messages and I’m not in the mood to reply to them. As they’re often off middle aged straight guy’s wanting a blow job.
I have been debating to delete my account but I do enjoy the forums at times so I’m holding off for now.

I hid mine when I had a guy message me with where I work and every time I had left work that week (down to the minute I left the building), and then called my work around 70 times to speak to me after I’d blocked him.
Didn’t fancy it happening again  |

Because life is busy sometimes and you don’t have time to chat or don’t want to, you know you won’t be meeting so don’t want to waste people’s time messaging you, can’t be done with lots of messages from photo-less profiles saying ‘hi’. The list is endless |

I've done it when I've wanted a break or to review how I feel. I do it when I go away aswell.
I don't like people winking at me or messaging me when they are hidden unless we have spoken before. I get wanting to maintain contact with existing connections but trying to establish a new one whilst hidden, doesn't vibe with me. |
