Scotland's biggest new oil field which is off the north coast of Scotland and will require oil rigs to extract has been given the green light by the Scottish government, likely a legacy of Nicola Sturgeon. The Just Stop the Oil types will no doubt disrupt even more sporting events and glue themselves everywhere. Justified or no? What's going on guys ,,? It's all over the news |

Carbon capture fuels have a proven worth.
Carbon pollution is taken from the air and bonded to water to make petrol or diesel which our cars can burn. Producing water and carbon as exhaust emissions.
Any nation with wind, tide or sun can produce this fuel.
The petrodollar is on borrowed time, and the US with it. |

I wish the Just Stop Oil supporters could attend an economics for beginners course, a course in Oil in the supply chain of Everything and the realise that population growth is outstripping any environmental gains made by wind and solar.
Not only the size of our footprint (UK is 5 ton/capita verses India at 2 ton/capita) but the number of feet…
Before people mentioned countries in the Middle East, look at the denominator…. And when talking about China, know that they are making the vegan plastic products… |

A noble cause, impractical/impossible in its execution, tainted by the actions of idiots.
First rule of guerrilla warfare, get the people on your side.
Do not fuck up people who are going about their day, trying to earn a crust.
I'd be interested to know exactly what they do on a daily basis to not use oil based products or services that need oil to operate. |
