I don’t judge people entirely on the shape of their body, there are too many other factors involved that determine whether I like someone or not. There will be some skinny women who i prefer to some curvy women and some curvy women who i prefer to some skinny women. |

Having dated both I’ve figured out that while slim women are very attractive, they can’t hold my attention long term
So for a long term thing I need curvy/chubby

Why is it that we woman should need to fit into one of two categories - skinny or curvy, yawn!
It’s entirely possible to be slim and have curves, also curvaceous is something different to different people - to me I like a woman with shape, confidence and who owns the skin she’s in not the category people put her in

As a wise man once sang…..
“I like them black girls, I like them white girls
I like them Asian girls, I like them mixed-race girls
I like them Spanish girls, I like them Italian girls
I like the French girls, and I like Scandinavian girls
I like them tall girls, I like them short girls
I like them brown-haired girls, I like them blonde-haired girls
I like them big girls, I like them skinny girls
I like them carrying a little bitty weight girls”
He missed a few off his list, but you get the gist. |

I fail to see how body shape is related to holding your attention |

Our tastes change with the weather although we prefer people with similar builds to ourselves.
That's more to do with insecurities than anything else though. We own our bodies, we are what we are, but standing next to slender people when shaped like us does nothing for our ego's lol.

"Curvy, don't have to worry about breaking them"
I'd never really considered the health and safety aspect of having an extra large human bouncing on top of me.
All the more reason to stick with the slimmys |

"Both but every time I see Penny's Curvy bum I get harder than a stick of blackpool rock."
Can’t fault your logic there. She does indeed possess a rather spectacular bum. |

Girls I like them fat, I like them tall
Some skinny, some small
I got to get to know them all
Girls love the things they know
Love the things they show
Have to be where they go
Pretty girls the sunshine in the air
The perfume that they wear
Girls are everywhere
I like to be on an island
With five or six of them fine ones
With one to be in good looking
And one to do best cooking
Give me one with a lot of money
Give me two with a lots of honey
Give me three to do freaky things
Give me four or five more that like to swing
Superfine mighty fine
Sugar and spice and everything nice
I like to be a magician
Then I could start wishing
I'd take a magic wand and poof I'd have me fun
If the guys could see me they'd swear I was Houdini
Before they'd count from 1, 2, 3
I'd have ten girls sitting next to me
Superfine mighty fine
Sugar and spice and everything nice

A great answer. Can we stop with these posts pitting one woman against another? We are so much more than our bodyshapes. |

They'll never stop
I think it's absolutely fine to express a preference but when it comes to people and their body it's probably less controversial to just say what you prefer than asking people to choose.
Anyway I thought fab lore was that it's personality that counts |

Who’s pitting who against who?
Only on fab can you be asked to state a preference and women will feel like war is being waged |

Skinny v curves. Because it a daily thread. Have your preferences but do you need to keep stating them? Put it on your profile as women do read. |

Good lord our block list is quite long enough without me going looking.
As far as I'm aware fora are for discussion, I was suggesting that it's not only on fab that this kind of question would cause disagreement.

Curvy all the way
Let’s be fair about this, curvy is a size 12-16
But there are occasionally where you will see a slimmer woman with seriously sexy curves
I’m currently a 14 by the way

I'd argue slimmer women pretty much always have sexier curves. My wife's a size 10 and definitely curvy.
For me, curves go in and out, not out and out. |

I think what can be a bit offensive to some people about this constantly-posted choice (though it's not much of a choice really), is that "curvy" can be used to mean one of two things: curvaceous (ie with this OP I think - and I think a number of guys will always just imagine 'big tits' curvy anyway) or it can be used as a kind-of 'kindly' euphemism for 'larger person', ie when this constantly-appearing thread is expressed as 'curvy vs slim' I guess.
So those are two positive things. And both are expressly 'womanly' you might say.
Skinny though tends to just have a negative sense imo.
Skinny can also be used in a few ways I think; one is rather-jealously for 'slim', and the other more euphemistically for a few things I think - unhealthy, do-gooder, b*tch even. It's rarely used with pure kindness in mind I find - ie like curvy is when it just means 'larger'.
In contrast to the word skinny, when is the word curvy ever used badly?
I don't know what the OP intended (nothing actually mean I am sure), but I felt there was a clear 'answer' to this thread, and that was 'curvy'.
Surely all women are curvy though aren't they?
I think that women especially have an entitlement to their curves!
And I think that thin people - who aren't always healthier than large people btw - shouldn't always be subject to even-faint disparity. It's not just large people who get snarked at in life believe me! I'm a very thin guy and always have been. Across my whole life I have at various times been commented on disparagingly by both men and women too actually for being 'too thin'. I think I love being naked (and maybe even a CD) partly just to show that I myself do have some curves!
We're all made of curves! Aren't we?

Agreed. Try looking up antonyms of skinny... Not many complimentary words come up. Maybe slim is a bit less offensive and pejorative than skinny. |

If I was attracted to women then no doubt I’d have the same point of view as I do being attracted to men. It all comes down to facial attraction and personality for me, I don’t have a body type/shape preference. |

I think we all know every woman has curves in some sort of way. But if you're basically asking bigger vs smaller then I'll pick bigger. I think slimmer women are gorgeous but something about someone who has some extra softness is delicious. I'm not gay but you know what I mean. |

Obviously people can have their preferences, but how can you have an average build and not have curves?
I guess this just shows that everyone has their own idea of what 'curves' are, clearly.
I just think these threads have an implicit 'answer' build-in (it's always 'curves') and I much prefer it when they are structured as "do you like... curvaceous?" etc instead of ambiguous 'either/or' choices. I actually tried this once, and apart from some over-egging from myself in the OP, the thread itself went fine. People sometimes get do a bit tired of seeing these threads though for sure, they can seem almost every day sometimes.
So when these threads are expressed in terms of "Who else likes..?" and the language isn't so clearly ambiguous, then the personal preferences you talk about become clear-cut and there is less reason for anyone to be critical or offended.

He said it can't hold it long-term. Ok 'long term' might mean 2 weeks to some people, but it just sounds shallow af obviously. pt"
You call it shallow, I call it wanting to be so insanely attracted to a long term partner I can’t keep my hands off them forever
To each their own, some people obviously don’t mind being not that attracted to their partner |

"Having dated both I’ve figured out that while slim women are very attractive, they can’t hold my attention long term
So for a long term thing I need curvy/chubby
I fail to see how body shape is related to holding your attention
Its obviously what hes attracted to, so therefore holds his attention.
Whats so hard to understand about that?

Guys it's how you initially phrase this stuff!
Anything too objectifying (even on a sex site) is going to sound off to some people sometimes, especially if it evokes a relationship (even accidentally), as obviously relationships are more 'personal' for most people than just pure sex.

Like I said, to each their own. I’d never judge whatever standards you set yourself for longterm relationships because it’s all about being happy
You do you |

I don't like to choice of 2 possibities. We are all waaay more than that.
There's more chemistry involved and a holistic approach to attractiveness for me.
Visually.. I have skinny ankles and the rest of me curves.
So If we're limited to your size categories here .. I'm creating a new one.. I'm in the skurvy pile |
