Just used a sun bed for the first time
Jump to: Newest in thread
Well after much thought, I’ve just used a sun bed for the first time.
Mainly because I’m off on a walking holiday to Lanzarote in a few weeks and other than my arms and face, I’m as pale as a polar bear.
The question is, do many blokes use one |

I use one a few times a week. Not for mega minutes but only 3 or 4 to keep my psoriasis under control. I also used it to get used to the UV before I went to Turkey earlier this year. It defo helped my skin not get burned. |

That’s my plan, hopefully getting enough of a tan to stop myself from being burnt to a crisp |

So by deduction we can conclude that you have no famous men as friends Incidently I think most just use fake tan. Sime notv particularly well either |

I started using them a couple of years ago before a March holiday to Venus Star. We are naturist so I'm evenly tanned all around. However coming though the other end of winter my body had not seen much sunlight. So I started going to prep my skin for a naked week in the sun. It worked well and I didn't burn out there.
I'm not a regular user. But I find a few sessions before the naked season useful to prepare my body for the sun. Also on those cold winter days I just pop in to chase the winter blues away. I find it really lifts my mood afterwards.
Still yet to find and use the one in Chameleons though. Maybe that's my challenge for this winter |

Suncream also helps with this |

Never used one but my skin tans at the slightest hint of sun no matter what factor sun cream I use.
Do sun bed tans protect from actual sun?
I assumed a sun bed tan to just be a cosmetic thing and maybe even bad for the skin. |

None
But I did hear Jesse Lingard used a sunbed shop near me when he was at West Ham |

Sunbed's 'are' bad for the skin and offer no protection from the sun...the effects of using sunbeds won't show till some times years later, as is the same for actual sun damage. |

That's pretty much what I'd assumed.
