What does 3 quid get you these days?

Not a lot generally, you can't even get fish a chips for that! 
But tonight in a grotty rundown pub in a forgotten corner of Sheffield it got me three hours of entertainment by a world class blues man and his band! 
Just had one of the best nilla nights out I've had for ages, he even sang me a song and danced with me! 
And all for less than a fish supper.
So what remarkable bargains or unexpected amazing times have you had recently?  |

Which pub specifically?..."a grotty rundown pub in a forgotten corner of Sheffield "...doesn't narrow it down very much  . Joking aside, some of the best nights out whether alone or with friends, often happens when it's unplanned and spontaneous. |

I got to the hospital for free up there lol and no blue lights were involved lol |

When I lived near the Kelvin Flats (now no longer in existence) in Sheffield I had a great night for the price of one vodka, a snooker table and an after hours lock in with me and 4 regulars ... yummy! |

Not recently, but i have in the past had "spontanious" nights out that have turned out to be brilliant nights.
One pub in particular used to have an old man sat playing his accordion one night a week and everyone would have a sing song.
There was one that had a cellar bar and on a thursday night it was jazz night, free to get in but a jazz band playing. They would be full to the rafters |
