Theme tunes to Ivor the Engine and Grange Hill come irrepressibly to mind.

But it's true of almost all songs. Music is almost as evocative, in summoning back remembrance of lost times, as scent.

On a separate note. I have to commend Manchester's Council Members (whoever the fuck they are) on their move to clean up Piccadilly. It's only taken 7 or 8 yrs for them to notice open dealing and sick junkies sleepwalking around.

Sad thing is, it's now engrained so will just move the problem outside the city centre.

Slow clap.

Damn. Looking for a way out. Saw Odyssey at the Prince Charles night clubby place in Gillingham. They were brilliant. One of those moments that bring it all back.

Because my life has been split up into chunks I do this all the time. I am great at things like guess the year because I just work out where I was living when I heard the song and that gives me the year.

No but I get a flash of how I was feeling at the time, sometimes... Songs from my childhood mostly... Make me feel a bit uneasy
