Because it's too early for such an aggressive subject.

First thing - good morning forum people! Hope your Sundays are happy ones.

So, second. When did you last say fuck it? Whether it was to not going for something, not messaging someone, a situation, whatever.

Are you good at recognising and going for what you want, leaning in to it? Or are you prone to overthinking/cautious?

Morning Meli. We throw caution to the wind and say fuck it all the time, normally when we have free time together. It will either be 'fuck it, let's hit a club' or 'fuck it, let's jump in the car, drive and find a hotel wherever we end up'. Life's never dull, last week week said fuck it, got dolled up and walked into a very posh hotel like we owned the place, we then proceeded to have afternoon tea before requesting the concierge order us a taxi.

Morning Meli!

I say 'fuck it' fairly often but about small things and usually not in an overly positive way as it's because I'm doing something I shouldn't (such as buying myself something I don't need/can't really afford) to cheer myself up. 'Fuck it' is often a surrender rather than an affirmation.

Oh that sounds fantastic! What a way to do it - impromptu afternoon tea sounds brilliant. You might have inspired me.

Morning _eli, have a great Sunday.

I'm an over thinker it's a curse!! However I do have the occasional fuck it moment, it's rare but it happens.

Go to the gothem hotel manchester, floor 6 and breeze past the attendant and up the stairs to the most upper class cigar bar you will ever see, back down to level 6 and into the resteraunt for tea. Once you finish ask at reception if the hotel Bentley can drop you at the station

Morning O-F!

Ah, I'd not thought too much on the surrender idea as being something of a negative. I guess at least it's about relatively small things? It doesn't sound great though, x

Carlisle usually

Oh. Often.

Given half a moment I'll overthink and destroy the joy in something by pulling it into a thousand pieces and picking at every flaw.

I often tell myself fuck it to allow myself to just enjoy something for the joy of itself

Yeah, it tends to be more of a nihilistic thing I guess, which I then get annoyed with myself about afterwards because I know I shouldn't have done it and there's always some negative consequence even if there's a positive one too - financial, emotional, whatever. Although as I say, tends to be about fairly small things but irritating all the same.

Er...this is a bit heavy for a Sunday morning and I feel like I've derailed what was supposed to be a joyful thread about getting the most out of life, so I'll shut up now!

Morning gorgeous Meli, and forumites, happy Sunday!

I'm learning to let go and say fuck it more often! Being uptight and trying to control everything is so unhealthy for me! So although a bit scary at times, just letting go of outcomes and going with the flow, being spontaneous is very freeing!

Morning all, i used to say fuck it and go for anything years ago, but I've been more reserved lately. Work is busy, home life is chaos most days. Sometimes you miss out but it makes the good times even more worth it. Kettles on if you fancy a cuppa Meli.

Solihull and Brentwood

A week last Saturday put a deposit down on a mean machine.

The following Monday, rolled into work. 8.30 meeting was told the engineering dept was going to lose 10 jobs and everyone had been given notice.

Took delivery of car yesterday, and have a knot in my stomach after saying fuck it. Good chance I will be saying Fuck it again on Fri. 13th Oct. When they announce who stays or who goes.

Cellar vie or whatever the French is.

I said fuck it, I’m going to do what’s right for me on Friday and will probably do the same again soon with a different situation.

I wish I would just say, fuck it, and ask if this one woman is DTF, but also I enjoy the not having to deal with possible rejection

Anyway. Good morning, Mels.

I did a massive fuck it last week. I so t go into details, but it was huge. I’m mostly good with it… occasional wobble and what the fuck did I just do?

As long as I don’t turn the fuck it into fuck it up…. We will be grand.

Nice one, life too short to have the thought in the back of the mind thinking I wish I had done that.

Friday night at the London fab social, I said fuck it and asked the hot bartender if he wanted to do a shot with me and asked for his number. I got it.

Oh yay! Go you! This is brilliant.

A long time ago I got to watch a friend go full flirt mode on a very hot bartender - fluttering her eyelashes, flicking her long hair and doing full doe eyes. All to exchange a cheap bottle of wine for a more expensive one.

Women are beautiful things. Scary. Yet beautiful.
