Crocodiles Save a Dog

Stunned indian watchers saw a stray dog chased by a pack of wild dogs and the only escape for the dog was to jump into scrocodile infested river. Horrified onlookers saw three mugger crocodiles approach the dog and feared the worst. Instead, the three crocodiles gently nudged the dog back to a safe part of the shore line away from the dangerous pack. Now idiotic scientists who are obsessed with finding complex solutions for simple activity are claiming 'sentient empathy between species'.

No No No. The Crocs were simply not hungry that day and their bellies were full having feasted on an antelope or something. On another day these evil buggers would have gobbled down the dog ....

Scientists my arse...

What's going on here uys? Its all over the news

Oh it's not evil. Just organisms trying meet their needs. Doing what the need to do to survive and thrive.

I'm kinder when I'm not hungry too.

Few animals kill unecessarily as it clears their habitat of food for the future. Only humans constantly kill for fun; for no reason.

The crocs just decided that if they kept the one dog alive the pack of pursuers would think the crocs were benign and would persue the single dog into the river.

Thereby giving the crocs a feast of a whole dog pack rather than one scrawny dog. Simple when you think about it and for the doubters of my logic; Crocs have been around 95 million years. They must have learnt something in that time.

To be fair he did start with 'few animals' but should of clarified with 'some humans'.

No idea what's going on there Tom, maybe you should go there, get in the water and ask the crocodiles themselves? Let us know how you get on please.

I've spent time with and around crocs in Africa. Hunting them to capture for research, and being stalked and hunted by them in turn. They are not evil! But they are completely unpredictable, cold, calculating and completely ruthless! I feared them more than sharks, snakes, lions, leopards or hippos or buffalo. You would sometimes see the same croc watching you for weeks with apparent disinterest then suddenly for no discernable reason it would suddenly start to stalk you with ruthless intent.

We understand plenty about their biology but I don't think we'll ever understand their psychology!

Crocs definitely don't just kill bc they're hungry. Many a time i sat outside a tent and watched them pick off unsuspecting animals then leaving them to rot in the river. In the camp I used to go to the workers there used to poke the dead animals down the river with branches bc of the smell. The crocodiles casually looked on. They had no interest in eating any of them.

Breaking news that there has been a crocodile attack in Florida. A passer by saw a 13 ft crocodile with human remains in its mouth. Hunters then slayed the bugger and cut him open like a tin can. Inside were human remains. They then killed the crocodile presumably to set an example to others

I've spent the last two years trying to educate him on the difference between poisonous and venomous- at this point i've given up and reverted back to full on sarcasm and piss taking
