Good Morning All I work one in four Saturdays I don’t mind it as it’s a fairly quiet day but at times it feels like the clock is running backwards.Anyone else work Saturdays and if so how do you find it |

I don't mind working the weekend shifts, it's a good time to catch up on paperwork as its quieter, but today I would have loved to stop in bed, lacking motivation so it's going to be a long shift ahhh! |

"I don't mind working the weekend shifts, it's a good time to catch up on paperwork as its quieter, but today I would have loved to stop in bed, lacking motivation so it's going to be a long shift ahhh! " . I don’t mind doing my Saturday as you said it’s quieter and a good opportunity to catch up on any paperwork or admin. |

Similar to Bluebell, I've worked evenings, weekends, nights and Bank Holidays all my life. Quite enjoy it most of the time - I only got dispirited by those long stretches of long days where you're always indoors and never see daylight. Must be what it's like to be institutionalised. After a while you can't imagine those sort of days ending.
Particularly glorious to have done a few very long days this week and to be enjoying the autumn sunshine in the garden this morning! Sympathies to those not able to do so. |
