Best has to be Encona chilli sauce.

Crispy shrimp chilli oil is tasty on noodles.

Encona and best just don’t go together for me.

If you like Caribbean style chili sauce, Pat & Pinky’s original wiri wiri sauce is the best.

For Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese dishes, Kold Sauce original fermented hot sauce is nice.

For Asian dishes this ketchup is thick but so well flavoured and spicy all at once. It’s hard to find something else that adds spice quite like this does: Pico Punjabi ketchup. Sounds weird but trust me, it’s a proper chili sauce called ketchup.

If you fancy Mexican chili sauces these are the best I’ve ever found and I’m a self proclaimed Mexican food aficionado:

Valentina (not too spicy but at the same time flavourful).

Tajin Chamoy hot sauce in powder form and excellent for fruit. Sounds strange but it’s delicious.

El Yucateo. The entire range is worth trying. There’s jalapeño, chipotle, habanero, salsa verde.

Cholula

For Korean style chili sauces, oFood do a nice Gochujang Hot Pepper Paste.

Depends on the food it’s accompanying imo rather than one being best for everything.

I make a mean homemade one
