Ever hold out from just dealing with your horn level yourself and get frustrated in the process?

I tried to wait the other night knowing Mr would be home soon. I couldn't help myself. I know why I broke it now... My body was telling me my menstrual cycle was looming imminently and I NEED an orgasm before I start bleeding otherwise I'm the worst person to be around.

Oh I'm like this too, not so much the worst person to be around but definitely a bit grumpy, but helps the whole thing move along and gets rid of cramps...and so does sex. |

Why do you do it though??
I think mine stems from a past relationship where I would wait for sex, thinking that it would be sods law that if I dealt with myself he'd then want sex. Which wasn't a problem but I'd rather have sex without having had an orgasm alone first as it's a lot more sexy.
I think it formed a habit I haven't let go of, waiting for someone else.
Now I wait for a meet instead which is utterly stupid.
Though I do like abstaining before a meet. |

I think I often do it because sex is generally more enjoyable than self pleasure (though self pleasure is very enjoyable too).
I do like to tell myself I can get a meet last minute though that literally never happens. Or I tell myself later when my partner and I get some alone time but by then you’re exhausted etc. and it just leads to frustration. And I think I should’ve just dealt with it. Idk.
I think to answer, I do it because I know sex will be more enjoyable if I get to have it. And I enjoy being with other people. |

Most things are better shared. We're not built to be solitary. If we were, we'd not share experiences over an online forum.
Nothing wrong with solitary pleasures, but don't all of us have times where we prefer to share them, whether those pleasures are sex, eating, drinking, conversation, even the pleasures of work? Be a shame to abolish that urge entirely; we'd be diminished by doing so.
Completely get what you mean, though, OP - there's a balance between allowing yourself to want things that aren't immediately available (as we should!) and torturing yourself by not accepting what is available, but perhaps isn't perfect. And the balance is always shifting & never perfect. |
