Have you seen this exquisite movie?
Today (well yesterday at time of posting) was the first year anniversary of my father’s death and I have been fortunate to have been picked up by dear, dear friends all day and evening looking out for me. Friends are gifts, truly.
One took me to see this film “Past Lives”. The most beautiful film. Cannot recommend enough.
It has restored my soul.

I haven't seen it, I would love to, but doubt any cinemas local to me will show it. I am obsessed with South Korean anything at the moment though.
It is difficult to explain, but it's been a very difficult couple of years, and in a way Korean dramas and cinema have helped me through it. They tend to hit your heart in a way that nothing else can. |

I will have to give it a watch. It's not what I think when I think of South Korean Films I normally think sci-fy thrillers with a deep phillosophy and a litte bit wacky. But this seemes different in a good way.
I think the last Romance thing I watched was After Ever Happy which got me frustrated.
In terms of thrillers I saw a BBC one where a women had slight memories of her preiouse life and you bassically followed her as she shanged elliments of it befre she died. The motto of the stry no matter what she did could not save her brother. |
