I am just curious as to whether social meets are still a thing or if they are a thing of the past.
Social meets give you the chance to get to know each other a little bit more and see if there is any connection to make the next meet better. |

Sure they'll still be happening maybe not as much but I could be wrong also. But many have groups which gives a chance to mingle. The site meets section others do use also for arranging a gathering of friends |

They are a necessary for us. There's a Fab couple we have got together with who we've been out to dinner with more often than we've had sex with.
I regularly put the word out each year for socials at the Proms and have met a few Fabbers that way. |

We love social meets. If we stopped meeting 'swingers' for sexual meets then I think we would still continue to meet socially with strict no play.
I've grown to be quite fond of a lot of people we talk to. Some are friends for life.. Unfortunately for them.

A social first . It gives everyone a chance to be relaxed and have no pressure to perform. Just a chat, coffee and a laugh. If it goes well then we move on to a second social and nakedness appears  |

I don't think they're a thing of the past at all; over the past few months I've had the pleasure of meeting lots of people socially whether it's group or more intimate socials.
I love them - it's a great way of spending time with people without any pressure or expectations and seeing if chemistry translates to real life. |

I always do social meetings first. Sometimes more than one, in different places. I want to feel the connection and to see how the other person carries themselves in public.
I mainly meet much younger men and I want to make sure they are equally enthusiastic about being seen with me outside the bedroom and are comfortable with themselves as they are about sex behind the closed doors.
That is a very important factor for me. |

The reason we still haven’t played with anyone is because apparently single males who are apparently happy to just rock up and get naked with strangers all get stage fright when it’s explained they will need to have had a social first
They are a hugely important thing for us

Love a social first, I'm not the type to just show up and get naked. I need to see who you are, your body language, mannerisms, they way you walk and talk etc, I need to see all of that before I'm attracted. You might look nice in a photo but if everything else is off it's a no go.
I just think there's a lot of guys that freak out at a social and run off which makes no sense when they were prepared to just get down to it with a total stranger. What's so scary about a social that's means sex is less scary? |

For me social meets were not a social thing, but to check if I got any mass murderer vibes from them.
Sipping my hot chocolate, giving them the once over to see if I could spot their trouser bulge whilst surreptitiously looking for red flags. |

Socials are often as much fun as anything that may happen afterwards.
I've had socials that went no further and still enjoyed someone's company.
