Dull, very damp and windy, ticks us off no end and you don't want to go out in it.

Any better up your end?

Yes! It's warm, dry, the sun is out and the leaves are dappled with that Autumnal hue which I adore. It's a perfect British Autumn evening.

The rain has been pouring down summer has been quite disappointing this year that's why many people jet off to more reliable weather than London's unpredictable weather

Sun is out but a lot, lot cooler than of the previous couple of weeks and much fresher.

Showers due later, possibly

We went for a wlak this morning as people were going to work, the paths in Greenwich park were covered in leaves but the sun on the cannry wharf towers and the city views shone out

We noted that too as we lived in Yorkshire and then moved to London and it was like another country re warmer/sunnier weather.

Scrub my previous message about next week. Not the indian summer originally forecast. Mornings will be chilly as expected. Nights better for sleeping at last.

I often take the forecast that is more than 48 hours ahead with a pinch of salt unless the weather is stable. From sept onwards and all of winter it is difficut to predict that far ahead other tha its going to rain and be windy

It lashed down most of Tuesday and part of yesterday, proper Northern rain..

None of that soft, delicate stuff you capital dwellers get..
