Longest time chatting before first meeting

Hiya fabbers… I’ve been on and off Fab for 9 years in total. I’ve been chatting to a lady on here for - we worked out - 7 years (!) out of those nine before finally meeting today. We’ve kept in touch all that time, and always got on, but never had the chance to make it happen before. But well worth it - it was like meeting an old friend but one you just really want to get naked with!
Is that a Fab record for longest chat without meeting? What’s everyone else’s longest first “hello” to actually seeing the other person in the flesh?

"Over 2 years now, one of the first guys I chatted to on here and we still haven't met... but he's in Scotland and I'm in Portsmouth, so it's a distance thing!

About 2 years was the longest. There’s some that’s been 2-3 and keep saying we’ll meet but realistically we probably won’t.
Lifestyles and distance are always overcome quickly when both of you really want it to happen. |

I've known one lass for years and finally got to meet last week. Waiting does make it feel better grantee you get a chance to meet in most cases, the longer it takes to meet, the lesser chance you'll get to meet |

I have a very long-term online friend, we started a perv chat way before fabs existed and through the years kept in touch swapping sex&life notes. He's on fabs with his Mrs but I don't think we will ever meet, very different interests.
Next longest was about a decade, it was a couple and I was so into them. Eventually I got the threesome of my dreams (and it lasted for a bit before it went to pieces).
There's also this one guy who recognises me on every account I've ever set up and writes to me appreciatively, affectionately even, must be about 8 years now, but everytime I ask him out for coffee he evades! |

Erm... about five years? Intermittent chatting; sometimes we'd talk daily for weeks and then we wouldn't talk at all. It's just how things go sometimes. As much as I'm a subscriber to, if you want to you will, there's no time frame for that. :D |

There are people on here I've gotten into conversations with (on my previous account) because of the forums, or because I've complimented their picture, who live nowhere near me so we never met, we just had a nice, ongoing conversation. In some cases I wish we had met, and who knows, maybe it could still happen in the future, although it would take a very particular set of circumstances to make it happen! |

Wow. At 7 years I’d assume she’s exhausted all her other options and it settling for me
Longest I’ll wait is about a month. Anything longer than that, excluding logistic issues, you can’t be that keen to meet |

So very happy to report that, after the first social meeting after 7 years’ wait, the first sexual meeting (2 weeks after) was absolute fireworks. It was a long time coming. But cum we very definitely did! (Boom, boom) xx |

There's someone on here I knew before Covid hit, we live in the same town, we're friends on social media, been in same pubs at same time. I didn't know she was on fab when I joined the first time (5yrs ago) and found out by accident.
We connected on here, there was chat, flirting and there was a meet arranged that didn't happen due to a cock up on my part and some miss communication. We didn't speak for a while after that, but have since reconnected as friends.
So, to answer the OP, at least 5yrs of chat without a Fab meet. |
