I have a new phone coming in the morning, problem is my sim card is to big.

I was told you can cut them down but I'm not sure I want to risk it ?

you should have a micro sim come with the phone tomorrow. that will have your same number on it so all you have to do is activate the sim when you get the phone

You can do it, I did when I first got the iPhone 4 which takes the micro sim. It worked but be very careful not to damage the chip part of the sim. The rest of it has no bearing other than a plastic shape. Obviously it's easier just to get a new sim but if you don't wanna wait for it.......

Planet kitten, North East usually but occasionally South as well

They sell something that resembles a hole punch on amazon, used it on mine and worked no problem xx

Newcastle and Gateshead

it can be done... however there are certain "generation" sim cards out there.. so you may find there will be some stuff you may not be able to do if you keep the one you have...

the best option in the long run will probably be to go into a store and do a "sim to sim" transfer....

Its where you get a sim and transfer it to another sim.... hence sim to sim transfer...
