Inspired by another thread which has made me think of curry.
I make a great ital plantain, and chickpea curry! I am just your average third gen Black Brit so basic.
Inspire me to try some different ones |

I make a fairly decent bastardised rogan josh in the slow cooker.
All things with moods. Sometimes I want the sourness of a Dhansak, or the kick of a good Phaal, and sometimes I want something that could basically be served as a dessert it's that sweet and mild. |

Depends on my mood, it always has to have a kick and I’m not a fan of tasting coconut in my curry.
I’m not a fane of the very hot, once ate a phal for a bet and I still shudder at the memory. Don’t know what was worse eating or a few hours later when the inevitable happened. |

I had a Beef Massaman curry years ago that I always go back to when thinking about nicest curries.
Katsu is probably the one I make the most, quick and easy. |

"Can I get a Chicken Taka Masala please?"
"I'm sorry Sir, do you mean Tikka Masala?"

My neighbour in Birmingham used to make me goat curry. It was amazing. Still think about it 20 years later.
I do a decent butter chicken, which we usually have with chicken byriani and stuffed paratha.
Also made a coconut dhal few weeks ago which was really nice. Served with crispy onion and chilli on top. Made a mountain of roti and the guys literally ate it out of the pan. |
