With the length of my legs hold ups won't hold high enough to work for me without suspenders involved. |

Always tights for daytime, work especially as I wear dresses and skirts to the office.
Hold up for weekend play. I have very long acrylic nails and doing up the rubbery fasteners on stockings drive me nuts!
Currently working my way through Matalan hold-ups. I bulk buy six or eight pairs click-n-collect. They have surprisingly deep band which looks more expensive than they are. When I rip or ladder one, I reserve and pair up with another undamaged single, as same lace pattern.
Finally, if like me you have a mild allergy to the silicon band on the hold-ups, apply some thick (cocoa butter) moisturiser where the silicon touches the skin. It acts like a barrier, and stops the redness and itchy the next day. |

Depends on the weather and what I'm wearing
Love fishnet tights and hold ups. Snag do great ones.
Thick opaque tights, especially with short skirts and big boots.
Recently discovered Snag suspender tights, which I adore. Best of both worlds. |

I just Googled that... they are fully enclosed tights but have suspender pattern on them? Ok so still difficult to play, as they are tights?
I used to buy "body free" tights from BHS (remember them?) which are tights but have openings front, sides and back, so access all areas like stockings and suspenders. I can't find those now. They were suuuuper comfortable and can wear them to sleep. |

That's exactly what snag suspenders tights are. Open crotch, sides etc. |

Thanks hun. Just looked them up by searching for crotchless tights and wow! I'm getting a pair of bright red ones! Not cheap (compared to Matalan!) but they are quite special! |

I enjoy the look and feel of both, can't really pick in terms of feel. I guess I have some nicer stockings though. I do have some nice tights, but stockings can be more colourful and imaginative I think. If you are lucky they will sit nicely on your leg at just the right height too.
