I must admit some of the pics on here are scary! I got a pic off a guy yesterday that made me  and it wasn't the usual mugshot. He'd actually posed that way. He looked like he wanted to rip out my throat. |

It's really difficult taking self smiley pictures. Well it is for me. I've said this in the forums myself. I cannot crack a false smile. I know it's hard to believe but I'm not a pro model. Cough cough.

I have a friend who advises a couple of big, false, over-the-top laughs and then you snap in-between to catch that natural, genuine smile look. Her pictures are always great. |

I'm peeing myself here, as I know exactly what you mean. I saw one where my initial response was to involuntarily pull back from the screen and say "whoa!"

Really? I feel a complete gimp doing that on my own in front of a mirror. I was hoping for simpler tip like thinking of puppies with toilet rolls or a chimps tea party.( no offences intended to any gimps on here) I'll forever have the Fred west glare  x |

I think of you go down the route of thinking about puppies and toilet rolls you may well end up looking constipated. Give both a go. What's the worst that can happen? You don't have to keep or use any you don't like. It's not like the old days when you had no clue what was going to come back from that roll of film. |
