Chelmsford

A herd of beach cows on a beach called Barra which is on a remote Scottish island that was discovered by Viking sailors. It is not known if these beach cows are direct descendants of those original viking cows.

Anyway they used group think to actually surround and attack a man who was then airlifted to Glasgow hospital. It is a trend we increasingly see with humans being attacked. What's going on here guys. It's all over the news

Where else would you find beach cows if not on a beach?

Did he not see them?

I mean, generally a herd of cows is pretty easy to spot from quite a distance. Could he not have avoided them easily enough?

If you're going to let a her of cows sneak up on you then you only have yourself to blame really. They're not stealthy ninjas.....

Cows are big stupid herd animals. It's nothing new, cows kill more people than sharks each year in the UK (you can prove anything with statistics).

But yeah, avoid Viking cows or they'll pack you off to Odin.

Statistically probably near zero, which means it's not totally impossible... Let the cow pick the battlefield and it could get interesting.

Should venture near any animals with young. Also there was a bull in the herd....I'm sure the beasts didnt go hunting people, they got too close, a mistake they wont make again

Whaley Bridge,Nr Buxton,

Two people were trampled near here a couple of weeks ago. They decided to walk into a farmers field and let their two dogs off the lead. The cows had calves with them,so they did what all mothers do and protected their young.Without calves cows Wil protect themselves and their mates if they feel threatened. When you look into these attacks it's the human that has gone into the cows environment and done something stupid.

Near Clacton

Cows with young are very unpredictable and can be very aggressive towards anyone near their young. You can often see it in the high streets when they charge out of shops pushing their young in pushchairs and bash into people!

Leave cows well alone when they have calf's with them... they are very protective and will crush you to death if they can.

All it has to do is pin you down and you're fucked.

Bulls are obviously very dangerous too.

This reminds me I’da great conversation I had with one of my best friends at uni on the way back from a lecture. He told me that if he went to way back in the days he’d have taken cows instead of horses. Maybe he was a genius.

I saw my dad trampled by a cow, with a calf

Dog was on a lead, the farmer was there, and the cow went for the dog, who hid behind my dad.

Cows are barely domesticated, at the best of times

Lots of broken bones and left me terrified of cows

Add the fact that the beach on Barra is actually the local airport and you have to wonder how they got him to hospital
