Yes women can be equally guilty of objectifying.
I do look at some men as more of a beautiful sculpture than completely human.
Many of these because they are just a profile and a few photos. Even some actual real life men can be classified this way in my mind. Usually when the personality isn’t quite so beautiful. |

"Let's not use this as an attempt at undermining a problem that impacts women far more "
And let's not dismiss mens feelings when it does happen to them.
Does it happen to women more or are men less vocal about it through fear of ridicule |

"Obviously. But not all women.
And not all men.
And not all women at all men and not all men at all women.
Or men with men.
Or women with women.
"
Well said
Don't tar everyone with the same brush |

I'll be sure not to do that when I see men talking about how it's made them feel |

Yes, they do. I've done it. I think in general though, women are more respectful about it. Not all women obviously, but most of us wouldn't make anyone uncomfortable or act on it like so many men do. |

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the responses of ‘some do’ is accepting that every woman on FAB being included in that ‘some do’ bracket lol
The problem of objectification at it’s core, is not actually the initial act of objectifying; it’s how it’s then processed, perceived, and/or acted upon in the short and longer term, as well as the influence of privilege based bias.
Some do argue that the latter is negligible, completely negated or even a privilege women in kink/bdsm/swing have and often take advantage of. I’m certainly sitting on the fence on that one though, I must admit ; even if it is to be fair, I do recognise the privileges in life in general are unbalanced in male favour so… |
