Which is much your liking?

I much like holidays at home in the UK and as for abroad, not so much. The holiday I'm on at the moment is my last one abroad thank goodness.

Both. There are a lot of beautiful places in the UK but also some lovely places abroad.

Love swingers holidays abroad but like weekends or short breaks in UK, love just being able to chuck all our stuff into the back of a car and head off.

I like to experience different cultures too. Even twenty miles away across the channel there's a marked difference in culture, it's interesting and broadens your thinking

I used to be purely holidays abroad. However Sept 20 I adopted an amazing dog from our local shelter so more staycations for me now. It’s worth it though, wouldn’t be without her.

"The sunshine abroad is better "

True but I'll gladly have sunshine at home anyday as it's not as stifling as it is abroad.

I can’t be arsed to go on holidays. It all seems like a whole load of faffing about.

It is. Airports are not a pleasant experience and travelling anywhere by road in this country is often nightmarish. We won't bother to mention train travel

Me and my mum, dad and brother agreed that this will be the last as the hotel we're at is not as good as it used to be plus we've had enough of getting up early for overnight flights as they're so tiring and holidays abroad are just getting too expensive now.

Abroad. There’s a whole world of culture, food and people to meet.

The U.K is fine for weekends away and shirt breaks, but for me, holidays are about exploring abroad.

I agree about airports as waiting for flights are not only boring but also very tiring.

If I’m not in another country I don’t count it as a holiday. It’s more a break to me.

Agreed and can be cheaper. Certainly my 2 weeks in North Macedonia this year was cheaper than any holiday here.

I don't mind that so much but going through security is a pain. One of us always gets stopped

Oh that’s only the start of it. Holidays I’ve been on have just been traumatic experiences. Terrible hotels. Nightmarish people. Awful locations.

My last trip abroad for any sort of ‘holiday’ has to be over 20 years ago now.

On top of it all…..it’s costs a small fortune these days. I’d rather spend what tiny amounts of money I have, here in the UK.

Indeed. It certainly does cost a fortune to go abroad these days. It's very expensive to go to places like Florida now.

All of my holidays within the last 10 years have been in the UK and before that I had only ever holidayed abroad.

I will take abroad any day!

I like the change in food, weather and culture. x
