What are common assumptions people make based on your profile?
For me the most current common is, due to my age, I must be lying about having a period, surely and trying to use it as an excuse for not to meet.
I am on my period actually and excuse my crankiness.
I’ll have some wine later though.

I'm not sure what assumptions they may make, but those that have gotten past first impressions always tell me I'm better in person. I never know how to sell myself in my profile so I just have to hope they'll take a chance and maybe read my verifications. |

I had a similar situation on my singles profile when I started out of Fab. I would occasionally get messages out of the blue, from women, ranting about how I'm a disgusting cheat and should be ashamed of myself

It's mainly assumed my wife doesn't exist (as she doesn't chat)
Also (a bit darker), her presence on Fab means she's open to being sexually assaulted  |

I feel like a lot of couples make assumptions about anyone that lists themselves as bi or bi curious. I'm probably not attracted to your partner anyway and I'm not going to "try anything funny" because that would be sexual assault. |

When I display it due to the wording they assume I’m not single (can’t acomm) and that I’m boring (don’t like crude messages, prefer normal get to know you messages). |

Really! That shows how much they know about women. my gynaecologist said the oldest woman she'd seen still menstruating regularly was 62. I was around 57 when I had my last period.
Nobody assumes anything about us as far as I know. |
