Are you , “let’s start the build up in September “ or “don’t you fucking dare mention it til at least November “?

I’m in the “Christmas starts on December the 24th, and finishes on the 25th” camp.

Used to enjoy the build up when kids were younger but even then it wasn’t till nov or so. Last year ignored it completely and purposely worked till Christmas Eve as was first Christmas without my daughter we had a pretend one 2 days later but was a load of shit to be honest. Have her this year so will make a bit more fuss

I'd say leave it until the middle of December but we've had our used up in August before Getting it shoved in your face any earlier than December is ridiculous though.

Where I’m from Christmas celebrations start mid November and ends end of January. The longest after the Philippines which go from September to end of January.

I'm a big fan of Xmas - I start buying stuff around March and normally have all my stuff in for end of September

Like to be organised and laugh at the last minute panic shoppers

Can I vote for “don’t mention it at all”.

I like winter, but really hate Christmas. Glad when it’s over

I go backwards and forwards on it.

On the one hand I hate the commercialisation of it all, the exhausting and exasperating Christmas adverts. How every advert tries to sell you the "perfect family Christmas"

The frenzy over the John Lewis adverts, the amount of time and money that must go in to making them that could go elsewhere. How their sole purpose seems to be to make people get a bit tearful and sob.

The way that every year there must be some new form of meat stuffed with another meat stuffed with another meat (that will somehow make your Christmas complete)

The make "make this Christmas special" with (insert random food/drink here)

The way that Christmas is pretty much just owned by the big supermarkets at this point.

It's truly disgusting and I hate it... The Christmas we are sold each year is so false.

But on the other hand... it's a time of year when friends and family get together, people drink in the excess, there's merriment and cheer, people wish each other a happy Christmas, people are in general happier.

The world is such a shit place at times it's just nice to have a couple weeks that don't seem quite as shit... or at least it's a different kind of shit

I love Christmas

I love the build up to it, this year I have started my shopping/planning a little earlier than usual to try and spread out the costs

Should be nothing about Christmas anywhere, until Remberence Day has gone.

That still gives you 6 weeks to go at, and that is still far too long!
