"I think my mother used to grate it on top of rice pudding. You would have to make a lot of rice puddings to use a few up though "
Exactly I needed half a teaspoon for soup yesterday. I've no idea what to do with the rest. I don't like rice pudding |

"Apparently it can be added to ones bath water, seems it has several other healthy properties too..
Who knew eh..
Interesting. We don't have a bath I wonder if I could run it on me in the shower "
Or a pre shower body scrub potion thingie, I would do much more research first as it is a bit spicy.. |

"I use it in fragrant dishes with lamb yum. Or with any cake that has fruit in it. I actually really like the flavour of it so I'm probably not the best person to offer advice. "
I don't have much with fruit except apples. It seems it goes well with them though |

If you knew how long it took me to grate half a teaspoon of the stuff yesterday!
Still at least I got to use my teeny, tiny nutmeg grater |

"Not so secret anymore but a little bit of grated nutmeg is my secret ingredient for homemade cauliflower cheese. "
Perfect, in fact any recipes that have white sauce or bechamel can benefit from some nutmeg. Also good with minced beef recipes.
..But now have an image of OP keeping miniscule grater and nutmeg nuts in her purse, running around adding some to people's coffees and cook ups |

"A little grated nutmeg elevates any cheese sauce or bechamel."
So it seems. I'll try a little in my next cheese sauce.
I made a butternut and apple soup yesterday which required nutmeg. It's certainly added depth to the flavour. It called for ginger and cinnamon too |

I put ground Nutmeg into my Christmas Cakes and into my home made mincemeat.
Put it into apple crumble by mistake, I usually put ground cloves in with the apples but picked up the Nutmeg jar instead tasted fine though.
It is also a must for rice puddings and custard tarts. |

"It's good grated into wilted spinach.
It's also hallucinogenic if you eat enough of it but don't do that.

You have to be very careful, nutmeg OD is extremely easy to happen & very dangerous , but yes it’s a very powerful hallucinogenic |
