Rom coms are full of dramatic moments where one actor declares undying love in some dramatic way, stopping a plane, interrupting a wedding etc.

Does this ever happen in real life?

Its not happened to me unless you count the time that P caught my boyfriend at the time by the throat, pinned him to the wall and told him that if he saw him do anything like that again he'd unalive him .

In his defence,he had gotten very aggressive with me in a nightclub and P saw it happen

Em x

I've had some beautiful moments. Not so much planes being stopped but very romantic (to me)

A few years ago there was a hand written letter with lots of explanations about something. He said he would be at a certain place, on a certain date and time and hoped I would join him.

I did

Sagittarius A

I have had a few such moments. Not a plane or a wedding.

One that springs to mind is when I was living in Tenerife.

I called someone, from a phone-box. Pre mobile explosion. We'd lived together before I left.

I could hear the sadness in her voice she was on the verge of tears, but all she could muster was: 'I miss you' at the end of the conversation.

I had to see her, I felt possessed - so I flew back to Liverpool and knocked on her door.

She screamed, vaulted off the doorstep into my arms and started snogging my face off. I think it was 3 days before we even processed it on a rational level, at all. She said 'how long are you staying, is it for good?'

I said: 'Honestly, I hadn't even thought that far. Do you want me to?'

She just smiled "you are almost as crazy as me."

Aaah, it's a beautiful moment and a good job she wasn't on a flight to see you!
