First there was ghosting, the art of someone seemingly vanishing from your messages inbox, never to speak again...
Now we have zombying, the art of that very same ghosted conversation coming back to life months later, as if nothing ever stopped...
Who here is concerned and needs to flee to higher ground? |

"There’s the zombies with amnesia too - those who get back in touch after ghosting and pretend they’ve never spoken to you before…
…we’ve had quite a few of those

Usually non site supporters. They don't realise that site supporters have a notification of previous contact, plus the last conversation thread often pops back up |

Same for the ones who claim we had chatted previously and were at the point of deciding when and where to meet......ermmmm, nope, my site supporter features would show me previous contact and conversation |

Concerned? No.
If people ghost it's on them. My block button works perfectly.
There'll then be no zombie resurrection unless they set up a new profile and as most are easy to spot when they do that they're easy to recognise and avoid.
I have no issue with things being in no rush, conversations taking place over weeks or months and there being absolutely no hurry to anything happening via Fab. Makes for a stress free site life.

That's always been submarining to me.
I quite like the term Zombying. Although I think I prefer that for the ones whom maintain contact, but in a lifeless manner.
As long as it is acknowledged it's not something I would be concerned about. |

No I’ve military mates that I might not have spoken to in years pop up and say fancy a brew! As if it was last week we last caught up.
Life’s busy. If I’d arranged to actually meet and it went silent I might be a bit reluctant to arrange something straight off |

And some of them seem impervious to being able to make the connection/memory retrieval, despite multiple cues you may give them. |

That's mates though. A cup of tea isn't the same as putting your penis inside someone. |
