Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I've fallen in lust at first sight and thought it was love. The people I have loved, and still love, have grown on me and then one day I see them anew and fall in love at that first sight. |

No I can honestly say when I first met M and not a believer in this before there was an instant connection, not lust, within 2 hours it was as if we had known each other years. |

I absolutely admore anyone who has had that...I have been in love but it certainly wasn't at first sight.....I am way too guarded for that

The moment I saw Luke I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, and vise versa!!!
He still gives me butterfly's and when he holds my hand it just feels so natural and that are hands are meant for each other, we tell each other at least 3 times a day that we love each other!
He is my sunshine!!! |

Yep and it was mutual was so fast and full on,we just wanted to be togother all the time and the only time we spent appart till i lost him was when i had the boys and was in hospital..and when he had to go in with some problems.
Was an amazing chunk of my life. |

Twenty six years ago I walked into our village club and there was a girl I had not seen before say there.
I said to my mate " Hmm , she is nice "
He asked who and I said " the one sat next to Godzilla "
Well we spoke , danced, kissed and I went home on a high which I never really came down from even though we have been married twenty five years.
The only bad bit us that Godzilla ended up being my mother in law .

Yep I saw my bloke and straight away my heart was beating fast palms sweating mouth drooling lol and since then I've loved him and count myself blessed to still love him now its an amazing feeling specially when he feels the same way  |

You know how it is when you stop and look at your other half and even all these years later you get butterflies in your stomach.

I had been talking to someone online for months before he got back from abroad. There was just something there. Saw him across a Town Square and I fell for him there and then. Hasn't changed for me, but unfortunately, whilst we are still great friends, he doesn't feel the same. |

Only my opinion but love is something that develops over a period of time of knowing a person, but instant attraction and lust are very possible.
Had all in my time - the last was the strongest and it hit me like a thunderbolt the minute I saw him.
Didn't want it, certainly wasn't looking for it, but oh God! We are good friends nowaday but I still fight the feelings...lol |

professional psychologists have suggested that the "love at first sight" experience is actually down to insecurities.
We all have some insecurities, some of which we keep hidden. They are not all 'bad' or 'geeky' insecurities, some are just our outlook on life and what we want to avoid becoming. However, they manipulate themselves very subtley in our body language and the way we carry ourselves or react in certain situations. It is suggested that Love at First Sight is actually seeing someone and being able to instantly recognise those insecurities on a subconscious level. We instantly warm to people with similar insecurities as we can relate to them.
sounds like a good theory to me. |
