Profiles without photos.

What are your thoughts on profiles without public photos?
A picture paints a thousand words, so if no photos, we pass them by.
Is this the same for everyone?
Any out there with no photos who's ever actually been successful?

I ignore them. As a single guy I also ignore profiles from single women/couples that aren’t photo verified or with other verifications (or couples who were last verified 2 years ago) regardless of whether they have pics or not |

The photos and the profile need to engage my mind or it’s pretty much a none starter … sometimes showing less is more intriguing but nothing at all is difficult to overcome. |

Also not personally interested with profiles whose only public pictures are from 1yr+ ago. I appreciate the need for discretion but a lot can change in a short period of time. (And yes I know that new uploads could be of old pictures..., but you can only go by what you can see before making contact) |

The hottest guy I've ever met had a profile with no photos.
Photos are usually close ups or not representative of the person. I meet people not pics.
It all depends on the person behind the profile.
Some people like to meet a tick box. Good for them.  |

I don't post pics as I'd rather not be identified due to family/friends/work colleagues etc. I've been fairly successful in meeting people since I've been on here but I put that down to being able send a half decent opening message. I realise that I would probably have a little bit more interest if I had a profile pic, so seriously thinking about it at the moment. Just need to have a trim and edge first. |

If people don't put a pic I will still read the profile ans see if I like how they sound and no pic is not a big one for me . What I don't understand is no pic and no info on the profile |

Each to their own - as simple as that.
At a basic level, different people communicate and process messages in different ways. Some people are not visual at all. Others like to write and some people are more somatic.
Going a step further, and perhaps a little provocative, but social media is largely how you want to be seen, how you present the best version of yourself, so what you see... Isn't always what you get.
I'm not for or against photos. Just laying another perspective. |

Sounds like you are good in messages so why change.
Just put any old shit as your profile pic. Like your legs/ shoes on a park bench.
You're still the same person with or without a pic. |

Personally we're more jnterested in gauging body shape and size etc..not really bothered about loads of intimate photos or erect Dick Pics.
I get that may be sufferficial..but Fab caters for all sorts of people with different preferences..

I wouldn't ever make contact with a blank profile, but if they msg and attach pics it's not a problem.
This is why it annoys me when people say women should go looking and make the first move... how can we?! |

If I'm messaging someone from outside my area I attach a face pic. If it's someone local I'll offer to show one if they're interested. I wouldn't go to meet someone without knowing what they looked like and wouldn't expect anyone to meet me without first seeing my pic. |

It was a gamble but she wrote the most eloquent messages I've ever read. I just had to meet and know this person. And she was incredible in person too. |

Its up to each profile if they post photos. If people want to pass on pictureless profiles that's also their choice.
For me the thing that triggers suspicion is when a profile (unless tick verified) doesn't have a green flag. Especially Couples ones. |

We ignore them & use the filter to stop them messaging (it can be cheated sadly ).
I know some say they want to keep things private ,but there are pics they could add that wouldn't identity them.
For men it will reduce their chances of a message when getting looked at ,if they're a shadow .
Rightly or wrongly I'm always suspicious that they have something to hide.

We pass by anybody without photos. We were contacted by a couple with no photos recently who said they want to get to know somebody first and then send photos if we all decided to meet. That wouldn't work for us at all. It would be a bit weird talking to somebody and having no idea what they look like.
We certainly don't want to get to a stage of liking them as people and only then discovering we don't find them physically attractive. Looks aren't everything to us but they do have a bearing on attraction. |

I don’t have one because I’m one of them guys who can’t go anywhere without bumping into someone you know towns miles away from home other side of country etc etc. not worth the hassle that comes with it |

I am at the point now of moving on no matter how decent the profile is.
The excuse of work family etc doesn't cut it for me now. Ive already got a question mark over them so why try and initiate more |
