At a few times in my life I have need to let someone or something go.
I always find it difficult as my character is one that likes to succeed.
So can you let go with ease or do hold on for dear death  |

It's perhaps ironic that this thread is on here as I'm sitting on my bed feeling a little emotional. 3/4 and 5 years ago I would have been putting the finishing touches to a poem for my ex for Valentine's Day or planning a romantic meal.
Now the shit cheated on me so there's no love lost and I left him, but I cut him out of my life and there went friends, a family support network and my lover. |

That's the same as me at the minute, met a great guy for no strings sex, ended up spending more time with him, feelings develop then I called it off due to his hot/cold spells but I can't seem to let go  |

ive never been that close to anyone that its bothered me when they have gone, the only people i would never let go are my kids, anyone else can come and go |

i get attached easily too, theres a couple of guys i really like on here but i will never tell them,maybe because im a chicken ha ha but mainly because of the hurt thing and i really do find it hard to let go of them but at the same time i respect there decision to walk away |

I met someone who I thought the world off, thought things were going well and we had become really good mates, a simple misunderstanding caused by myself lead to it finishing 3 weeks ago, am completely devestated Lets hope I've learned from it. |

When you've done all you can do to keep someone that doesn't want to be kept. See it their way and let them go. It often hurts more to hang on than it does to let go! |

I admit some guys I've met on here I've grown very fond of. But happy ever afters between them and me.. No way! But I do wish them every bit of sucsess in life and happiness.
I will always be there for them re a shag or a friend if they wanted but nothing more  |
