.. what do you think the future will look like in 50 years, Fabsters?
Will we *finally* all be driving around in flying cars or using hoverboards?
What far fetched futuristic gadget in todays terms will be common place?
Will we *still* be debating if squirting is just wee?
Will things be better, worse, or essentially the same?

Genuinely i think there will be far fewer males born by then especially in the west, once people adopt the idea of a fetus being grown outside the womb, and the use of gender selection.
Will we have flying cars? we already do we just dont have the infrastructure to support large numbers.
I also expect a huge change in world economics, I doubt very much that mainstream media will be a shadow of what it is now, nevermind what it was.

Men will be obselete, reduced to be held in large medical facilities to harvest sperm.
The world will be a homogenised , vanilla society where instant incarceration happens if you so much as hint at criticizing someone else but it will only be a minimum security facility with no locks as not to upset anyone and make them feel singled out.
The term male and female is banned we are now all called "us". |

We'll be eating Soylent Green.
There will be riots against 12g phone implants.
Bareback and those that love it part 1,864,919 will still feature Russian Roulette despite advances in medical science will have eliminated most STD's

Females will be herded into individual pens and artificially inseminated to keep them producing babies which will be taken from them almost right away. They will be hooked up to milking machines in order to provide a food substance for the 'free' population trying to survive in an infertile hostile environment.
A few remaining males will be treated well in order to keep fit and strong and service chosen females to make good breeding stock in the hope that good habitats can be revived and populations will grow naturally. The sperm of general males will be used to keep females pregnant and producing young and milk.
When either gender become too old to reproduce , they will be killed and processed into soylent green .... to feed the masses. |

Who knows what the future holds. But I know one thing for certain, there will never be flying cars, people can’t drive for shit on the ground, you think they’re just going to let people fly around above everyone else.

I want to be able to communicate via hologram like in Star Wars and the like. A little 3D pop up of whoever you’re talking to. Every now and then crackling out with radio interference.
Although I’ll be over 100 by then. Or dead. |

I'm thinking back to 50 years ago. I was going to say that things were essentially the same but they aren't, people are, things are very different. I think the same applies to 50 years hence. People will be the same but if we don't get our fingers out te climate change the world will be different in a very bad way. |

We will live in a utopian environment, work will have diminished to artisan work and the pursuit of cultural or scientific discovery with mundane activities conducted by Ai and machines.
People will be free to pursue what interests them and brings them joy. Money will have been replaced with social capital, the population of the earth will be much diminished and because of this, less pressure will be put on our environment. A new, clean form of energy will now exist. Our environment will no longer be pillaged, but enhanced and people will spend their spare time cleaning up the mess of previous generations.
The world will be on the road to recovery, nation states have disappeared and a collective government exists. Life is no longer “exciting” for good or bad. |

In 1968 a band called Zager and Evans released a record entitled In The Year 2525, it became a worldwide hit.
I think there will find a copy on You Tube somewhere, listen to the words very carefully and in your mind substitute 2073 for 2525.
My own view however is that Mad Vlad will start throwing his Nuclear toys out of the pram and it will all be downhill from there and by 2073 the World will be a radioactive wasteland. |
