Firstly I mean a weird or wonderful creature in the UK !!

I've just had a moth fly in my bedroom that I'd never seen before so Googled it and I'm sharing my room with a Box Tree Moth this evening apparently

These were Leopard Slugs and they eat dead foliage and snails

Pretty much. But they kind of look like they've had their heads split open, and the scent glands under their eyes are terrifying when they flare.

Landlady has about 10 tarantulas and 2 snakes.

Tarantulas she feeds them crickets, locusts and worm thingys...all live.

Snakes she feeds dead baby rats and mice.

I live next to a park...get some gorgeous moths and a Harvest spider...that's the strangest spider I've seen..gorgeous in a spidery way all silver and white...claw like antenna's (well that's what I think they where) long body and very long legs...I had to take a picture of it and some one googled it for me.

This was some thing I've never seen before and I haven't seen it since, was on my patio chair for a few days..no web woven...also get some spiders that just sit on the walls outside and the bodies are very very small but legs mega long..they're strange too..like you say fascinating little creatures

I saw a bug today, it had six legs and was sizable like a dragonfly, but not a dragonfly or a damselfly. It was intimadating so I walked away and left it alone in my house. I have. Not seen it since then. I believe it to be alien in nature and possibly the precursor to an invasion.

It might just be an ant.

My son saw one running around his bedroom after unpacking from a holiday - absolutely convinced he had brought it back with him, he’d never seen one before and they arch like a scorpion and are quite aggressive and it was, in fairness, the biggest one I’d ever seen. Had to Google it for him to prove they’re native (and if he kept bothering it they have a fair nasty bite and will emit a foul odour).
