Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
I’m sure that will be fine, you’ll be remembering them in a dignified and appropriate manner, I can’t imagine anyone would take offence. |

Go in a pink tutu if you want,it's not about what you're wearing
It's about turning up to pay your respects.
Whatever you feel comfy in,is what you should go in,anybody who has anything to say about it,or comment in a negative way, obviously isn't there solely to pay their respects
If it's that much of a headfuck, just think about what the person who's funeral would think, after all it's their gig.......no one elses |

Hey OP, condolences for your loss. As others have said, pay your respects in your own unique way; if that’s black jeans etc then so be it.
I’m always reminded of a strangers funeral I attended, a good friend asked me to accompany her for support; her friend knew two years before that he had limited time. What a celebration it was, truly special and afterwards I left thinking I’d really gotten to know the chap, right at the last possible opportunity.
Go well OP |

"Question, can you wear black jeans and a black shirt to a funeral? I'll be sat at the back and just want to say goodbye to my friend and leave"
