"There are phrases that I would make it mandatory for people to show their thought process before uttering
Such as ?
'Offence is taken not given '"
I go along with that one depends on the situation to some extent though. |

"Literally. It does my head in as so many don’t seem to know it’s correct meaning."
To be pedantic its other use had now entered the dictionary
INFORMAL
used for emphasis while not being literally true.
"I was literally blown away by the response I got"

Banning things should be banned.
How many things need to be banned and how many rules do we need before we are satisfied.
Like really it's absolutely, totally, genuinely, authentically, categorically annoying.
Well it's not, but truth be told; in the end of the day: I'm just saying it for the bants. |

"Literally. It does my head in as so many don’t seem to know it’s correct meaning.
Which is ?"
If something literally did my head in it would mean my head was actually physically done in, not that something just annoyed me a lot. |

"'Prove me wrong' written at the end of any dodgy opinion "
Usually written by someone whose opinion is based on something they've read in a Facebook post from their Mum's dodgy 2nd-cousin-once-removed.

We use as many of them as we can in meetings. Just randomly say them. See how many we can get in. |

"This might be controversial. But men in their fifties calling themselves lads. WTF?
Men above 30 calling themselves lads. "
What am I supposed to chant instead while I'm being a total bellend then?

"Not sure where it came from but started about 2 years ago with everyone saying absolutely ….and the other is banter the art of taking the piss
"
I'm not sure I approve of reducing anyone's vocabularies, especially what many seem limited already.

Not sure if anyone’s said it yet, not controversial in and of itself but I’m campaigning hard for “Moist” to be added to the list of words that should not be spoken out loud…… ever!

Bitch as a derogative term to me sounds so harsh. Ban that please.
Also text speak ie thx, wyd, etc. It's my total lack of understanding of it but I spend half my time asking, 'what does that mean' or 'why didn't you just say that?' |

"My choice are "eating pussy" and wanking. They're not pleasing to my ears. "
I don't think they're meant to be pleasing to the ears. I've done both at the same time and nobody's "ears" were pleased. |

Shaming.
It's a poor phrase used when someone doesn't like being told what they are doing is wrong or in poor taste or just someone else having a different opinion.
So rather than have a sensible reasonable discussion the term shaming is just bandied about it's weak bullying in my humble opinion. |

The recent trend to use "you know", "right" pronounced "riiigghhhht" and "like". Listen to anyone under 30 talking and see how often these words get used! Trust me, you will want to start punching people!! |
