If a woman were to have sex during her fertility window with a multitude of men who would be the child’s father?
I only ask because know of somebody who is trying get pregnant by various men & it doesn’t seem to be working for her. |

"Would her ovulation determine it?Sperm can live in women for days at least 5 days can’t it?"
Depends on the strength of the sperm and the hospitability of the uterus |

One thing would be certain, whoever the father is, has the speediest sperm of the bunch.
But, truth be told, it’s the egg that determines the adequate sperm that will penetrate its walls. |

"Eight men went to blow
But she had a window
Eight men and a large pipette
Couldn't make an embryo"
Well if the rest of the song was correct:-
‘7 men, 6 men, 5 men, 4 men, 3 men, 2 men, 1 man and his super sonic sausage dog with a rubber Johnny on his knob….’ - it’s defo not the dog

I've had a thought (yes it did hurt!) if there was that much spunk, ie sperm from 8 different men in a short space of time, would it be too crowded for the strong swimmers to get through? (I have images of London marathon with the elite packed in the middle) (and yes I'm mixing my metaphors there)! |

It's whoever produced the sperm which fertilised the egg, or am I missing something here . If it's a cocktail of sperm from thousands of men, the same biological truth and certainty prevails.
If, despite lashings of cum, it may not all be viable. And the woman may have fertility issues too. |

As with most things in biology, it's not as simple as it seems.
The Human reproduction system has evolved under conditions of males competing with other males. Notably the shape of the glans works to scoop out a previous males semen if sex happens close together.
A less well known feature is that not all sperm are there to impregnate the egg. A certain percentage will disable competing sperm. Guard sperm as it where.
Now it gets a bit weird. The percentage of guard sperm increases if a male is aware or believes he has competition. Taking out more of the other man's sperm and increasing his own chances of becoming the father.
With 8 guys, (and I'm going to assume they all know about each other) guard sperm numbers will clearly be high for all of them, making for an 8 way battle royale in the lady in question. Most likely actually damaging her chances of fertilisation.
She might want to go back to just one, maybe a couple but they don't know about each other. |
