Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen had a conversation today with a really good friend we got chatting about life and families something he said never really been said before.his words were so glad we still talk and meet up because to be honest he expected me to be dead or back in jail doing a long sentence.context as a young lad I was a twat a career criminal only bothered about myself I never wanted kids just thought why would I want them been in my way life i was leading ment most i new either died or doing 15 to life it all changed at 24 when i got a visit of my ex telling me she was pretty and if i want anything to do with them I changed when i got out roll on nearly 30 yrs im a grandad good job nice house cars and money but I still have days when i think what if so i suppose im saying has life turned out like you hoped. |

Not being dead or in jail has to be a win, seems like you found your way. Im not sure I had any expectations of what would be, and things just keep rolling on in the way they will. (I did think I may have got a nicer car by now though)  |

definitely a win I was brought up by a good hard working parents I just looked and thought I ain't working like them for nothing but now I really understand it. |

In a sense yes I always wanted a family of my own and I have that which I'm extremely grateful for I never thought I could have kids so it's amazing.
I was an absolute nightmare in my 20's and my friends back then probably wouldn't recognize me now probably think I'm dead or arrested but I moved away, grew up, decided to get back into education and got myself a decent career.
Overall I'm happy with my life it's quiet, calm and relatively easy which is all I could want.

You story is not that dissimilar to many I know,
Boys get in a lot of trouble , girls are mean to each other , then they have kids and grow up, it’s life.
I think i grew up fast having my first child at 19 while my mates were still burning out XR2I’s and raving, I’m quite pleased how things turned out, not every lesson in life needs to be learned by direct experience |

yeah I was 24 totally changed my life I never really got into trouble much but I was always looking did a bit of time in Lincoln with a few lads from st annes great time and I was running cosseys then |
