Not as easy as you might think. I have a kind of autistism that sometimes cuts in without warning when I'm with people. My ability to engage simply shuts down and I become almost 'locked in'. It's like a switch has been flicked, turning off my ability to speak or sometimes even look at them. Most people can't imagine how debilitating and upsetting it is to feel yourself shutting down like that with no way of finding a way back to re-engaging - it's not simply a matter of pulling myself together and doing it. It's an absolute bastard and I hate it.

-Grown up

-whatever the opposite of anxious is

Okay the first two are way over rated.

Anxiety must be really challenging but as a wise person told me, approach all things one step at a time. If you food it up, who cares.

Lots of people have commented on confidence it's a tough one. That being said your body is the only one you have so find something you love about it and build from there. I've seen your pics and I'd never be confident enough to take some of those

Intelligence is not closely linked to being interesting. I know some genuinely highly intelligent and educated fold and they’re dull as hell. Give me an interesting life story, a positive outlook and a kind personality over intelligence any day.

And the thing about interesting things, they’re in the eye of the beholder so things you know and consider humdrum may be super interesting to others

The confidence thing is pretty common the tricks to find someone you're confident about and keep building. As for the self analysing it can be good to reflect, then your actions are deliberate
