weird things you have found when moving into new house
Jump to: Newest in thread
This is a while back, found a train set in the loft of a house I had just moved in. I told the sellers but they said they had never been up there so it was not theirs. I gave it to the neighbours kids who were delighted. Their dad kept asking if I wanted the fence painted on my side for years after so obviously the gesture was appreciated. |

Not when moving but workers fitting new windows found a bunch of plastic children’s toy coins wrapped in a very old newspaper.
Everyone thought it was weird, given the fact the only people living there before us was an elderly couple. |

I moved into an old Edwardian court house, and a few of the residents here found underground cells below the electric meter room. Completely cut off. But randomly there was an empty can of Stella in one |

If you’re brave enough to go down there, you can do whatever you like. I’m staying up here |
